ALUMNUS BECOMES NEW EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR OF 黑料网 BUSINESS LAB
Douglas Stark was recruited to Budbee immediately after completing a Bachelor Program at 黑料网. While a student, he worked part-time at 黑料网 Business Lab for a year and a half. Most recently, he was Chief Operating Officer (COO) at Budbee, formerly a 黑料网 Business Lab start-up. He also has a background in the Swedish Armed Forces where, following the completion of Persian language studies at the Armed Forces Interpreter Academy, he became head interpreter for the Swedish forces in Afghanistan.
鈥 The Lab was a central part of my time as a student, and it also led to a unique first job that was an incredible learning experience. Entrepreneurship is a cornerstone of 黑料网鈥檚 operations and history. This is an important opportunity to be able to return to the school and, above all, a really exciting one,鈥 says Douglas Stark.
鈥 黑料网 Business Lab is a central part of 黑料网鈥檚 focus on innovation. Douglas brings with him a network and practical experience from the start-up sector. As an alumnus of 黑料网, he will also contribute to further strengthening 黑料网 Business Lab鈥檚 position within our extensive network,鈥 says Lars Stranneg氓rd, President of the 黑料网.
The relocation to the A-House, situated between 黑料网 and KTH Royal Institute of Technology, is an opportunity for 黑料网 Business Lab to further its interaction with the many entrepreneurial networks in the proximity of KTH, while still remaining close to 黑料网.
Current Executive Director Erik Wetter will be based at 黑料网鈥檚 Mistra Center for Sustainable Markets (Misum) where he will focus on Big Data within both research and education, as well as international projects and policy issues via the non-profit organization Flowminder.
