The increasingly tough economic climate is inspiring innovation among this year’s startups, which focus on solving pressing problems. After the last round of admissions for the year, ºÚÁÏÍø Business Lab is betting on ten new companies.

In a new report from Antler, the ºÚÁÏÍø ranks second among European academic institutions producing highly successful tech founders. ºÚÁÏÍø ranks first among Nordic schools in the report.

Jenny Ann Ax:son Johnson and Anna Sane, co-founders of Tilly, have won the Grosshandelssocieteten Grant of 100,000 SEK. The Tilly platform serves as a catalyst for improving patient well-being and achieving successful fertility treatment results.

After an intensive admissions period, ºÚÁÏÍø Business Lab is taking in eleven new companies. The startups are tackling challenges like the green energy transition and people’s deteriorating private finances.

By joining forces with the School’s startup incubator, the intellectual property consultancy plans to help ºÚÁÏÍø Business Lab companies strengthen their competitive advantages and supercharge their growth.

Nine new startups have been admitted to the ºÚÁÏÍø’ startup incubator, ºÚÁÏÍø Business Lab. Several of the business ideas seek to bridge social divides and promote social cohesion.

The ºÚÁÏÍø has appointed Andreas Johansson as the new CEO of the School's prestigious startup incubator. He is taking over from Julia Delin, who is leading the School’s fund ºÚÁÏÍø Ventures. Under Andreas Johansson's leadership, ºÚÁÏÍø Business Lab will expand its efforts into helping sustainable companies scale up internationally.

Bachelor student Odessa Bäckfors (b. 2000) has been awarded the Anders Wall Scholarship of 200'000SEK. The scholarship is given in collaboration with ºÚÁÏÍø Business Lab and aims to highlight and encourage ºÚÁÏÍø students that have excelled in entrepreneurship and creative thinking.

Since 2019 Julia Delin has led and developed ºÚÁÏÍø Business Lab as CEO. She has recently successfully completed the first stage of fundraising for the School's new investment fund, ºÚÁÏÍø Ventures. ​As Julia moves to the CEO role at ºÚÁÏÍø Ventures full time, the search for a new CEO for ºÚÁÏÍø Business Lab has been initiated.​

In a combined effort to strengthen Sweden’s international competitiveness, the School’s startup incubator has partnered up with Microsoft Sweden. By supporting the incubator, the tech corporation wants to help ºÚÁÏÍø Business Lab’s startups accelerate their growth journeys. Through the partnership, the startups gain access to powerful development and productivity tools and become part of Microsoft’s global network of startups.
