MY WORDS – an art workshop where your voice takes center stage
What message do you want to share?
What thought deserves to be captured in words?
Over the course of two afternoons, you’ll have the opportunity to design and create your own art-banner – featuring your personal message, motto, statement, catchphrase, slogan… – your words.
Artists from Inuti will be on site, offering inspiration, materials, tips, and guidance.
Come as you are, tap into your creativity, and enjoy a meaningful and playful moment.
The finished banners will be displayed throughout the school in connection with the SAºÚÁÏÍø Summer Party.
Where: The atrium (behind Info-center)
When: Thursday, May 8 and Monday, May 12, between 1–5 PM
About Inuti ateljéer (Inuti studios):
Inuti is a foundation that works with artistically talented individuals with intellectual disabilities and individuals within the autism spectrum. The foundation operates three art studios in Stockholm, providing a daily activity center according to the Swedish Act on Support and Service to Certain Disabled Persons (LSS).
Inuti believes that everyone should have the opportunity to work within their capacity and develop at their own pace. Respect for artistic and personal freedom is important, and Inuti offers a possibility for human and artistic growth through concentrated work – in a creative and allowing atmosphere.
The foundation also runts outreach activities, and Inuti-artists have possibilities to showcase their art at different occasions such as exhibitions, projects, and workshops, with the aim to meet an audience and interact with society and cultural life through art events.
Art is communication.
